We are seeking a confident and compelling Transformation Change Manager Retail to ensure our team members can change effectively and deliver the business objectives of technology-enabled retail transformation programmes. This is essential for the execution of our digital retail spine and O2O projects based in Hong Kong including Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Indonesia. We are in the early stages of a 5-year program to deliver new retail technologies in every one of our 10,000+ stores, 42+ distribution centres and 15+ offices across Asia to enable real time O2O e-commerce with our customers. We have multiple countries to be migrated where we need consistent business processes across all the markets, we operate in implemented successfully.


Job Description

Responsible for delivering targeted change management activities that land the Dairy Farm Way process operating model for retail stores. The Transformation Change manager Retail will serve as the primary point of contact for building change management activities that land new ways of working in each business, bringing teams along the journey with positive use cases, strong communications and liaising with local learning amp; development teams for training design and rollout. This position will have frequent direct exposure to the business directors, business process owners and subject matter experts across buy (commercial), move (supply chain), sell (retail stores), O2O (e-commerce) and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall effort for business change for retail projects working with relevant store change and banner teams defining the scope, objectives, timelines, resource requirements.
  • Supports program work streams with stakeholder engagement methods, tools, techniques, templates
  • Possess organizational change management/change leadership skills and hands on experience coordinating internal/external resources in support of successful implementation of change efforts
  • Lead and manage cross discipline/business project teams/task forces in response to banner needs and initiatives
  • Identifies gaps, root causes and determines appropriate solutions to address the impact of the change program
  • Diagnose banners initiatives to determine the appropriate approach and organization capability and change solutions needed to meet short- and long-term business amp; banner goals related to the Strategy
  • Advise stakeholders on the best communication channels with creativity, grammar accuracy, use of language, tone of voice to develop content, crafting messages, stories, and scripts for specific audience groups to increase employee and customer adoption with a focus on communications
  • Support and manage the execution of all change management deliverables by acting as the expert, including but not limited to leadership alignment, stakeholder assessment amp; engagement, deployment communications, change readiness assessment, change network activities, management, and employee engagement event, and share findings with the core project teams, process teams and learning amp; development teams
  • Responsible for gauging the training needs of individuals and teams, preparing presentations, and teaching materials, and conducting feedback surveys to assess the effectiveness of end user training.
  • Onboard and support the organization and developmental needs of the change network throughout deployment so they can effectively support the organization during cutover and post Go-Live
  • Ability to assess change program effectiveness (e.g., awareness/understanding, speed of adoption, ultimate utilization, headcount reduction)
  • Manage the business relationship to ensure buy-in and advocacy for change activities with internal team members and 3rd party vendors to develop a shared understanding
