About This Role

We are currently looking for an established, independent individual contributor to join us as Business Development Associate. You will play a vital role in driving the growth and expansion of our platform. You will work closely with the business development team to identify and engage potential partners, develop strategic relationships, and drive revenue generation. This role requires a solid understanding of the cryptocurrency market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth in the blockchain industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage potential partners, including other crypto exchanges, liquidity providers, institutional investors, and blockchain projects.
  • Assist in developing and executing business development strategies to expand our user base and increase trading volumes.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for promoting our exchange and attracting new users.
  • Attend industry conferences, events, and meetups to network with potential partners and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Assist in negotiating and closing partnerships and strategic deals.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics related to business development activities.
  • Provide feedback and insights to the product and engineering teams based on market and user feedback.
  • Stay informed about the latest developments in the cryptocurrency industry, including regulatory changes, security best practices, and technological advancements.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing partners to drive user engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency market, blockchain technology, and digital assets.
  • 1-3 years of experience or knowledge in business development, sales, or partnerships is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and techniques is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in English and either Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, or other local market languages is preferred
