Our client a large Pearl Import / Export and Distributor from Japan is looking to hire a Japanese Speaking Business Manager for Hong Kong office to manage their Purchases, taking part in Pearl auctions , sales and training staff.
Job Description:
- Participating in Robert Wan Tahiti Pearls Auction and Parspaley Auction, GIE Poe Rava Nui Tahiti Pearl Auction, Gerdau South Sea Pearl Auction, Tahiti Pearl Private Auctions.
- Coordinate with the factory and other departments to ensure the product and collections can be delivered on time.
- Liaison with suppliers to ensure good quality and timely accuracy to the production plan;
- Responsible for product price calculation.
- Spending time in your territory on short sales trips, you will also attend both trade shows and trunk shows in your area, and of course major industry shows including Hong Kong.
- Strong experience in Keshi, Tahiti, Akoya, and South Sea Pearls is mandatory
- Strong understanding how to look after very high net worth individuals.
- Fluent English and Japanese.
- Expand and train the Hong Kong team and provide relevant training.
- Exhibiting in the Jewelry show in Hong Kong four times a year.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in Keishi, Akoya, South Sea, Tahitian and Cultured Pearls merchandising and procurement, knowledge in pricing, quality control amp; production process is a plus.
- High diploma graduate or above.
- Good interpersonal skills, presentation in English, Hindi and Japanese.
- Self-motivated, detail-minded, dynamic and strong sense of responsibilities.
- More then 8 years’ experience in taking part in Pearl auctions listed above in Japan and Hong Kong.
