What you’ll be doing
Business Development Specialist (Remote or home-based) in Hong Kong.
Reporting to the Project Manager, this role is responsible for tracking and managing prospecting, qualification, and nurture activities, and providing accurate weekly forecasts to the marketing and sales organization on the volume of leads expected to achieve MQL status.

Responsibilities
- Conduct prospecting calls and desk research on potential accounts to identify key details, including decision-maker names, addresses, current IT providers, and decision-making structures.
- Use specialist research tools, including LinkedIn and online research, to identify business challenges and sales opportunities within targeted accounts and produce a regular flow of qualified, sales-ready leads for direct and channel sales teams.
- Build and nurture business relationships with selected accounts to keep solutions at the forefront of their thinking when they are ready to review.

Required skills
Preferred
- Excellent verbal communication skills and a pleasant, confident telephone voice when speaking with business and technical decision-makers.
- Exceptional business writing and grammar.
- 1+ years of telemarketing or telesales experience in upselling or cross-selling solutions related to data center, colocation, network, managed services, or private/public cloud.
- Business-level fluency in Cantonese.
Preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Outlook.
- Salesforce and LinkedIn experience.
- 1+ years of experience in the B2B IT or telecom industry.
- Fluency in Mandarin.
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in business management or a related field.
