Truly Technology is a Hong Kong-based SME operating in the accounting industry from Tung Chung. We are seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to build reliable, accessible, and maintainable web experiences that support business and accounting-focused workflows.
The successful candidate will work closely with product, design, backend, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into polished frontend solutions. This role suits an engineer who combines strong technical judgment with attention to usability, performance, and long-term code quality.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications and reusable frontend components.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs and deliver secure, dependable user experiences.
- Establish frontend architecture, coding standards, testing practices, and documentation.
- Review code, troubleshoot production issues, and improve application performance, accessibility, and reliability.
- Contribute to technical planning, estimation, and continuous improvement across the engineering workflow.
What we’re looking for
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript and modern frontend development.
- Hands-on experience with a contemporary framework such as React, Vue, or Angular.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.
- Experience designing reusable component systems and maintainable frontend architecture.
- Ability to integrate RESTful APIs, manage asynchronous data, and handle authentication and error states.
- Proficiency with Git, code review, debugging, testing, and build or deployment workflows.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, security fundamentals, and automated testing.
- Clear communication, technical leadership, mentoring ability, and effective cross-functional collaboration.
