What you’ll be doing
Role Overview:
Support enterprise batch processing and workload automation in a 24x7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support enterprise batch processing and workload automation in a 24x7 production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and support production batch jobs in a 24x7 environment.
- Create, maintain, and manage batch schedules using BMC Control-M and IBM Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS/IWA).
- Configure job dependencies, scheduling calendars, triggers, and SLA-based workflows.
- Investigate batch failures, analyze logs, and perform job recovery.
- Monitor critical batch workflows and ensure timely completion.
- Handle incidents, change requests, and production support activities.
- Coordinate with application and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
- Participate in deployment, production verification, and go-live support activities.
