Job Description

We are looking for an Events Executive to join our agile and dynamic team based in Hong Kong. This regional role will manage a wide spectrum of virtual events (i.e. conferences, trainings, bespoke webinars and awards) hosted by our company’s leading B2B titles, namely Risk.net, FX Markets and Waters Technology, across Asia Pacific region.

Working closely with the Events and Marketing Services teams, you must have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate in a clear, professional manner and deliver events within budget and tight timeline. You will handle multiple events concurrently and demonstrate your ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

This role provides excellent exposure in client servicing as you will liaise with sponsors and vendors closely. You must be passionate about identifying new solutions for better event experiences.

Responsibilities


Virtual Event Execution
- Conduct vendor research and get quotations
- Manage individual project Pamp;Ls and keep track of all expenses
- Map out project timelines and set clear deadlines
- Gather marketing collateral and develop content on virtual event platforms
- Liaise with the AV vendor on the event logistics
- Provide technical support prior to event and on the day
- Prepare post-event report and data analysis

External Client Liaison
- Guide sponsors through the virtual event process and offer practical advice
- Coordinate video content creation between sponsors and our in-house editor

Strategic Support
- Research the latest event technology in the market and share new platform alternatives that suit the business needs

Requirements


- 1-2 working experience preferably in event / project management
- Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Excellent time management and strong budget management skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects within tight timeline and work well under pressure
- Independent and highly motivated to work as part of a team
- Passionate about virtual events and take ownership of projects
- Tech savvy, open-minded and eager to introduce innovative, pragmatic ideas
