The Role:

As we continue our strong focus on the APAC region, we are building increased infrastructure in Hong Kong and Shanghai across all areas of the supply chain.
The APAC Master Data Manager enables the interactions between Supply Chain, Systems, NPD and all our suppliers and customers by ensuring consistent data management for financial and inventory information.
We are looking for someone who has excellent attention to detail, strong administrative skills and real service mindset when it comes to supporting our internal amp; external customers by creating and updating our master data on time and to the required quality.
Role Accountabilities:
Perfect global master data within NetSuite
- Set up and maintenance of global master data records including: Customer, Supplier and Material. Material will need to be set up for different levels of the Bill of Material (bulk, primary and secondary packaging, finished good etc)
- Set up and maintenance of commercial master data for sales and promotional requirements
- Ensure all product data is accurate within our ERP system
- Develop and perform logic review to catch errors and conflicts in defined global data fields and escalate or fix errors.
- Run regular data cleaning activities
- Monitor MDM accuracy and continuously improve by developing our processes and the tools used
- Prepare and share relevant reporting with stakeholders and authorities (eg packaging waste information)
- Collecting APAC specific information from internal and external suppliers
- First point of contact for master data related issues in region
- Work with our global master data team to
- Build and maintain robust Excel tools to reduce or eliminate manual inputs from key supply chain processes such as internal orders, order status communication to store and customers
- Investigate new technological solutions to CT operational challenges (eg replacing Excel for packaging waste reporting)
- Test and validate new Master Data tools and workflows in the ERP System (eg data requirements for China specific product setup)
- Work with APAC users and Business System team to.
- Set up process flow to ensure product master data integrity between ERP and POS
- UAT and validate work flow with master data between systems.
Reporting Relationships:
- Reporting into the Global Master Data Manager amp; APAC supply chain lead
Requirements
- A strong educational background
- Excellent data manipulation skills in Excel
- Obsessed by detail and getting it right first time
- Experience in MDM (as a guide, we would look for someone with 2-3 yrs experience in master data)
- Able to demonstrate real examples of taking ownership of projects/improvements right through to the end result
- Experience with an ERP system is critical
- Good spoken and written English and Chinese
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as assistant manager
