To support our continued growth, we are now hiring for two Junior Business Controllers to join our team.
This team provides a the critical link between our finance and restaurant operations.
Responsibilities:
Each Junior Business Controller will be a designated finance business partner for one of the group of restaurants operated by Pirata Group.
For the group of restaurants under your responsibility, you will be required to:
- Provide financial decision support to drive business performance
- Help set forecasts and targets, monitor performance vs. targets and define and execute action plans where needed
- Work closely with the finance and operation teams to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, process, control and reporting
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will have a high degree of commercial acumen, be self-motivated, and have a proactive approach. With an analytical mindset and a solid understanding of the financial statements, you will be organised and have a drive and passion for business change. You are a people person who possesses leadership qualities and a positive mindset in all that you do.
We would love to hear from you if you possess:
- Solid academic background in business and/or finance-related field
- Good technical competence and knowledge of key accounting rules and financial statements
- At least 2-3 years of previous experience working in a financial controlling or business analyst position; track record in Pamp;L ownership / FPamp;A and business case modelling would be advantageous
- Experience in Famp;B would be advantageous
- Advanced excel skills for financial modelling and analyses
- Strong presentation skills
- Fluent in English (other languages beneficial)
