We are looking for an energetic Bar Manager to join our northern Spanish restaurant, The Optimist!
Responsibilities- Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs and followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Achieve company objectives in service standards, appearance of the outlet, sanitation and cleanliness
- Training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment
- Continually strive to develop staff in all beverage areas
- Recruitment of bar team
- Achieve company objectives in beverage cost control.
- Ensure high quality drinks are delivered at all times
- Managing drinks menu changes twice a year
- Lead by example to display exceptional memorable experiences to all guests
Requirements
- A positive, proactive attitude with a teamwork mindset
- Service oriented and hands-on
- Experience leading/managing a team,
- 1-5 years management experience in high profile and fast paced Famp;B outlets
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills
- Fluency in English is a must, other languages are an advantage
