HBX (previously known as HYPEBEAST Store) commenced business in May 2012, is a one-stop news source for internet savvy fashion enthusiasts and cultural tastemakers. HBX is the global e-commerce platform that targets male and female online shoppers between the age of 18 and 35, and primarily sells third-party branded clothing, shoes and accessories to customers.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and plan seasonal OTB based on demand plan, brand performance, market trends, and company’s business objectives.
- Monitor the seasonal OTB closely and evaluate ongoing performance of each brand and take appropriate actions accordingly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to highlight the focuses of each brand.
- Analyse performance metrics (inventory levels, margins, sell through, stock turns) and take actions to achieve sales and profit targets.
- Develop pricing strategies based on competitor analysis, market research and business financials.
- Curate the brand list and product assortment that fit the store’s aesthetics and vision.
- Liaise with local and overseas suppliers on a daily basis.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in related disciplines. Fashion, Fashion Marketing degree is a plus.
- 2 years of solid Buying experience with homeware or design products, preferably at a multi-branded retailer.
- A proven track record in networking and negotiating with vendors.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong analytical skills with an understanding of retailing math.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Innovative spirit to help drive the business forward.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
- Willingness for occasional travel abroad for business trips.
