The Role:Reporting directly to the Director of Regulatory and Licensing who is also based in Hong Kong, this role will see you supporting our global legal and compliance function. As a paralegal, you will are an essential member of the team and will take a great deal of pride in the work you do. You are passionate about supporting our Legal team across a great variety of work and no task will be too big or small. Your attention to detail and your ability to take initiative is what sets you apart.

Responsibilties:
- Provide general support to the licensing and regulatory team
- Assist in the Airwallex Group’s licensing applications, including drafting licensing related documents and updating internal stakeholders on progress of applications
- Assist the licensing and regulatory team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including requirements under Money Service Operator license and other licenses the Airwallex Group holds globally
- Assist in reviewing and drafting legal documents, compliance manuals, policies and procedures
- Work with legal and other compliance functions on regulatory inquiries
- Document filings; maintain document database; knowledge management
- Prepare and arrange for agreement / document execution
- Compliance and regulatory projectsLiaise with external service providers (e.g., law firms, translation firms, corporate secretarial agents)Ad hoc duties
Skills and Experience:
- Degree holder, preferably with a law degree
- At least 3years of experience ascorporateparalegal - preferablywithlaw firms or financial institutions
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Able to multi-task effectively, strong organisational skills and detail-oriented
- Proactive, pleasant, team player, with strong communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Word, Excel and Powerpoint
