Head of Sustainability

The Hive is the largest network of flexible workspaces in Asia Pacific, spanning 20 locations across 7 countries. Our job is to build, nurture and expand our community of professionals, and serve as a hub for connection and collaboration for businesses at every stage.

As the Head of Sustainability, you will report directly to the CEO and play an important role in the future growth of the company. You will have to evaluate the existing sustainability performance and drive for improvements. You will proactively identify new strategies and initiations for Sustainability.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project in the areas of Sustainability in the Hive
• Lead and support the team in implementing projects, analysis, research, report writing, presentation writing, and proposal writing on a wide range of sustainability issues
• Develop sustainability strategy, roadmap and measurement for the Hive, aligning global strategy and insights from APAC markets
• Communicating and marketing sustainability campaigns to internal and external stakeholders
• Lead to deepen the sustainability knowledge in the Hive
• Guide and support team members on sustainability projects including reporting, strategy and research
• Measure the Hive’s sustainability performance
• Support the company business by promoting different sustainability strategy
• Analyse policy or market trends related to CSR
• Manage and review work progress and continuously improve the performance
• Reporting to CEO to account for above responsibilities including project progress and milestones achievement

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Environmental, Sustainability, International Relations or related field
• 5+ years of experience working in a fields relating to sustainability and circular economy
• Strong understanding of different sustainability reporting frameworks in the market
• Experience working with multiple clients in a fast paced, dynamic working environment.
• Ability to comprehend, analyse, interpret, and respond effectively to sensitive issues as related to sustainability
• Experience in team management and people development
• Identify issues quickly and find the most economical ways to fix them
• Effectively handle pressure and problem solve
• Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
• Strong interest in green economy, environmental and sustainability issues, with a true passion in making positive impact on sustainability
• Experience in an environmental service start-up is an advantage
• Fluent in English, both verbal and written
