Junior Art Director
BCW APAC, Hong Kong

As a Junior Creative at BCW, you are required to have strong design sense, creative flair, keen interest to learn and ability to translate requirements into design. You are expected to have strong conceptual skills, an understanding of digital and social media, knowledge of multimedia design, being able to shape visual aspects of online/offline media and more to capture attention of those who see them while communicating the right message.

Job Responsibilities:

• Study design briefs, be able to understand client requirements
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare drafts and present ideas
• Develop multimedia and graphic designs
• Apply design principles and techniques
• Apply creative in the copy/design for diversified medium, including motion graphic, animation, social media, social communities, websites, blogs, newsletters, brochures, etc.
• Amend designs according to client feedback
• Have a positive attitude and maintain on-going communications with client/internal team
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

• Work closely with Creative Director, Art Director,Copywriters and PR teams to craft best in class content and media materials

• Know the power of our proprietary tools such as Creative Catalyst Network and Digital Catalyst Cards; work closely with BIG group to support your creative work and meet client’s objectives

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• 1-2 Years of working experience in creative agency setting
• Proficient in basic design programs including Adobe Creative Suite is a must
• Strong design sense and practice basic design principles
• Experienced in video editing, motion graphic and animation is a must
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus
• Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
• Excellent written and communication skills in both Mandarin and English
• Organized, dependable and detail oriented
• Strong portfolio of work
• Title is negotiable depending on experience level
