Position
As we look to expand our footprint globally, MOTI is hiring for Content Distributors who can hit the ground running and spearhead the sales and distribution of our IPs in the most efficient and effective manner. As the company’s Content Distribution lead, our ideal candidate(s) must already have established relationships with the space/industry’s most relevant stakeholders and key decision makers, have a solid track record of achieving sales goals and quotas, and a deep understanding of the intricacies of the distribution landscape to ensure MOTI’s content reaches the maximum number of audience and secure the best deals for the organization.
MOTI is inviting applicants from around the world who have rock-solid track record of closing deals in their respective space and territories/geographical locations, with the mission of selling and distributing MOTI’s content.

Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and execute detailed, creative and achievable Content Distribution Plans, to generate revenue and maximizing profits for Moti’s production, based on well-founded research and reasoning
- Provide sales estimates and detailed assessment of the commercial value of Moti’s production
- Create dynamic plans to effectively promote the sales of Moti’s production
- Create pitch-specific content calendars, partnering with leadership team on execution of high-quality, customized sales materials
- Carry out hands-on business development, outreach and sales activities for Moti’s different productions
Requirements
- Proven experience in Content Sales and Distribution and/or Media Sales
- Hands-on experience building and managing partnerships across various distribution channels such as mainstream media, streaming and emerging digital platforms, other content broadcasting, syndication/publication outlets
- Hands-on experience and solid knowledge of IP buying and selling, video content, film and/or music distribution, streaming, advertising, and entertainment industry, with a working knowledge of content needs of both current and emerging digital platforms
- Strong background in integrated marketing and account management at leading publishers and/or agencies
- Excellent communication skills and great precision of language. Fluency in English is required, bilingual in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) or another global language is an advantage
- Can attend company meetings during Hong Kong work hours (GMT+8)
- A strong and existing connection within their respective geographical territories
- Familiar with industry standards, methods and events: Trade Shows, Studio Funds, Early Stage Commitments, etc.
