Zencargo is the Digital Freight Forwarder with a vision of a world with smarter trade.
Our revolutionary digital platform collects and centralises crucial shipping data for end to end operations, allowing teams to get real time visibility into the progress of their shipments, and empowering Business Leaders to make better, faster and more informed decisions.
The result? Strategies implemented in seconds that improve the efficiency of their supply chains, and another step towards making global trade more efficient, reducing costs and emissions along the way, making life easier for everyone involved in supply chain logistics.
Since launching the business in 2017, co-founders Alex Hersham and Richard Fattal have successfully grown the business and now work with some of Europe’s fastest growing businesses. Having recently raised our Series B funding, we're in a rapid growth phase, with the team expected to grow to over 300 people across the UK, Europe, Hong Kong and the US.

Requirements
Subsequently, we are looking for an autonomous builder to help us establish and build our operations in the Far East, and eventually across Asia. This team will help support our growth in the UK amp; Europe.
What you'll do
- Run and help build our presence across the Far East, with our first office in Hong Kong
- Working closely with our teams in Europe and USA, as well as our origin partners, to deliver a consistently excellent customer service
- Work closely with our VP Ops, VP CS and VP Procurement to align on our operational processes and cadences
- Support Sales in new business opportunities, especially with large importers from the Far East
- Help drive strategic planning for Asia to unlock growth targets
- Oversee daily business operations
- Oversee recruitment and training of new employees
- Be the face of our operations and be an advocate for Zencargo
Must have
- Proven experience as a Regional Manager or a similar role, preferably in a Startup environment
- A deep supply chain and logistics background in China, Hong Kong or Singapore
- Experience in planning and budgeting with strong analytical ability
- Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)
- Deep operational and procurement knowledge in Supply Chains
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
- Problem-solving aptitude
