About the role:
We are looking for a DeFi Analyst to join our Research and Insights Team. To succeed in this role, candidates will require deep knowledge on cryptocurrencies and especially in the decentralized finance space. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience as a DeFi user, researcher, or community participant.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Research team’s day-to-day operations and give direction to team members in their research endeavors
- Conduct research for all topics relating to DeFi.
- Compile reports and articles for both internal consumption and external publication
- Liaison with external research partners including media, consulting firms and academia to grow the firm’s presence as an industry thought leader
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Master’s and PhD are highly welcome
- Actively investing in cryptocurrencies and DeFi
- Exceptional critical thinking skills and analytical mind
- Native level verbal and written English
- Knowledgeable and passionate about cryptocurrencies
- Deep knowledge of blockchain / distributed ledger technology / finance
- Experience in cryptocurrency industry / consulting firms / financial institutions / academia / producing written research
- Advanced skill in MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
- Knowledge of any (and ideally multiple) of the following:
Preferred:
- Statistics, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Quantitative Finance, Computer Science, Solidity, Data Science, Machine Learning
