Job Description

At Blackpanda, our sales team is the engine that drives our success. We are seeking a qualified Business Development Manager to help us drive growth across Asia. This is a role which will balance both strategic and operational responsibilities you will think big picture and also roll-up your sleeves to drive execution of strategic initiatives.The Business Development Manager will enable the growth of our global reach through the cultivation of new business opportunities and relationships. Our ideal candidate will be highly skilled at tech sales and business operations to help position Blackpanda as the premier cyber security Digital Forensics and Incident Response team in Asia. The candidate will possess excellent energy and enthusiasm with a desire to build business across a portfolio of accounts, as well as be capable to assist in the management of the sales pipeline, enabling sales team members to succeed in their roles.Applicants must be based in Hong Kong or Singapore with long-term plans to reside and stay in the city.Roles and Responsibilities
  • Manage existing channel partners while establishing new partnerships
  • Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, internal CRM, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
  • Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  • Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  • Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
  • Monitor and evaluate cyber security industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
  • Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
  • Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
  • Coordinate with marketing to share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
  • Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
  • Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
Qualifications and Experience
  • Five years’ experience in the tech space (IT / cyber security preferred) in a partner and customer management role
  • Successful track record in B2B and B2C sales and negotiation
  • Public speaking skills
  • Experience with CRM software and web applications
  • Knowledge of consulting business models and associated KPIs
  • Ability to work within a multi-national sales team
  • Extroverted, positive attitude with a drive to build relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Based in Hong Kong or Singapore with long-term plans to remain in the region
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Cantonese or Mandarin language skills a plus
Training
  • The Company will underwrite the cost of no less than one (1) training course each calendar year (the training for your inaugural year will be undertaken after you are regularized; a 12-month bond will be required of you with respect to the cost of training, commencing upon completion of each training course) the topic of the training will be your choice, subject to approval by your manager and will be no greater than USD5,000.
