Job Description

WATI is an early-stage, venture-backed SaaS platform that is defining how companies communicate with their customers. Through our customer engagement software, built on top of WhatsApp’s Business API, businesses can easily engage with their customers in-real time - at scale!

We are hiring a Talent Acquisition Associate for a 5 month maternity leave cover. As a Talent Acquisition Associate you will work closely with hiring managers to identify their needs and set up a strong employer brand. You will then source, screen, and recommend potential candidates that match our expectations both in terms of skills and culture fit.


What you will do:

  • Collaborate with our Senior Manager, People on headcount planning and role prioritization
  • Quickly develop an understanding of the company business model and culture by working closely with team leads
  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process for all functions except Tech. You will be the primary point of contact for applicants, conducting video and in-person interviews, managing the interview process, participating in the hiring decision with the team, and handling the offer process while ensuring an outstanding candidate experience
  • Proactively sourcing and attracting candidates by using a variety of creative methods (not just LinkedIn or our careers page)
  • Partner with hiring managers to plan for upcoming hires and anticipate needs as well as advise on market specific salary benchmarks
  • Reduce the time-to-hire metrics on all positions by using data-driven approaches to make decisions and improvements to our processes
  • Proactively managing the Clare.ai/Wati.io employer branding with the goal of raising awareness and attracting top talent
  • Collaborate with recruiting agencies on specific roles
  • Track and report talent acquisition metrics to identify best practices and pain points.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a full life-cycle recruiter, preferably experience in a high growth, technology start-up
  • Experience using data and analytics to create a recruiting strategy and process
  • An understanding and belief that the candidate experience is of paramount importance
  • Resourcefulness and an ability to think outside the box (i.e. someone who can develop and use creative strategies to attract candidates)
  • A strong, persuasive communicator who can inspire and influence candidates, and also motivate team members to participate in the hiring process
  • Experience with Workable, LinkedIn Recruit is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and fluency in verbal and written English is required
