Job Summary

We are looking for a high-energy and driven sales executive with lead qualifying experience and strong technical aptitude. Identiv's Identity Division (Transponder and RFID products) is fast-growing and requires a capable Strategic Account Manager. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for driving consistent profitable growth within the region by achieving sales objectives within designated and personally developed Transponder accounts in the region. They will develop programs to achieve maximum sales volume consistent with sales projections. This individual would possess a clear understanding of the needs of the customers and provide Identiv solutions that exceed their expectations.

You will need to demonstrate excellent customer service, professionalism, and follow-up with customers. You must possess excellent communication skills and have marketing and sales acumen to develop leads and explain the products addressing questions and concerns to make sales.

You’ll be part of Identiv’s global Transponder Sales Team which is split into three major territories (Americas, EMEA, and APAC). The Transponder organization is comprised of product management personnel located in the US and Germany, our Munich-based Ramp;D team, and our Singapore-based manufacturing.

As part of the APAC team, you will identify new prospects and help broaden the existing customer base. In your role, you also will interact quite closely with some of our major chip suppliers like NXP, Infineon, ST, Impinj, and more. NXP, in particular, is one of Identiv’s major lead generators and requires close attention. Pipeline generation using Salesforce.com as a companywide tool is a key activity of this particular role. Frequent interaction with our overseas factory in Singapore will be part of the day-to-day activities.


Responsibilities

  • Call on both existing and new accounts to develop opportunities for Identiv's solutions
  • Bring to life, develop and expand Identiv’s strategic business relationships to increase revenue
  • Drive double-digit increased revenues over the next two years
  • Create plans for customer growth that engage already established marquee customer relationships, influencers, partners, OEM’s and others to accelerate market adoption.
  • Act as the customer’s primary point of contact for coordinating global account needs and requirements
  • Build on current design-in sales: expand to additional up-sell capabilities
  • Develop sales and technical tools to discover and drive growth in specific, focused RFID markets and applications
  • Serve as Identiv’s focal point for OEM and direct partners in the Americas region
  • Assist customers in the discovery, registration, and closure of opportunities to realize design wins
