About the Role:

We are looking for a dedicated Venture Partner who will be responsible for capital formation and management of Brinc’s funds including:

  • Flagship Fund ($100M) Investing in early-stage startups across Asia through our accelerator programs covering sustainability, healthcare, food, agriculture, blockchain and other deep-tech verticals.
  • Counter Culture Fund ($50M) Investing in early-stage alternative protein companies in Asia focusing on cellular agriculture, precision fermentation and plant-based analogues.
  • Launchpad Mentor Fund ($100M) Investing in founders leveraging Web3 principles to build decentralized and inclusive businesses focusing on the future of culture, gaming, DeFi and metaverse.

They will work closely with Brinc leadership to develop and implement fundraising strategies and lead efforts to scale our ability to serve stakeholders, including Limited Partners. Fund partners are also responsible for promoting Brinc’s brand and expanding our presence, network and impact in our core markets.

The depth of knowledge from the growth of these companies will allow you to influence the future of technology at a local and global scale, being part of building the next wave of fast-growing purpose driven companies.


What You Will Do:

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with a relevant strategic and financial LPs (including sovereign funds, asset managers, pensions, endowments, family offices, corporates, high-net-worth individuals and more) considering investment into one of Brinc’s funds.
  • Actively manage fundraising networks globally to explore capital raising opportunities.
  • Develop and execute strategies to identify potential LPs, convey our funds’ propositions and increase our overall assets under management.
  • Prepare investor presentations, case studies and other marketing materials that will support fundraising efforts.
  • Contribute to and drive investor relations by keeping LPs well-informed of Brinc’s fundraising progress, track record and notable portfolio company updates.
  • Proactively create value for our strategic LPs by curating relevant co-investment opportunities and sharing relevant industry insights, innovations and trends.
  • Prepare and disseminate high-quality quarterly, annual and ad hoc reports to keep our investor base informed and engaged.
  • Represent Brinc at relevant industry events and conferences.

Requirements

About you:

  • 7-10 years of work experience in institutional fundraising or wealth management (endowments, foundations, pension funds, fund of funds, family offices, etc.). Venture capital experience would be an advantage (but not essential).
  • A deep understanding of investment management, financial markets and products (especially related to private equity / venture capital) along with insights into the LP investment process.
  • Independent and proactive with a focus on execution and results orientation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including communication, presentation and storytelling.
  • High energy level, independence, entrepreneurial mindset, individual motivation, and a collaborative team-oriented approach to business.
  • Ability to forge genuine win-win relationships, and to establish a high level of credibility externally and internally (personable, mature, influential).
  • Excellent process management skills, and patience with long lead times.
  • Superlative attention to data and detail.
  • A genuine passion for entrepreneurship and a belief the world
