The mission and vision
Look around you. gt;90% of the things you see have been in a shipping container at some point. Surprisingly, while being a 500+ billion-dollar industry, 80% of the market is still dominated by small and medium-sized freight forwarders. They mostly organize shipments via countless back and forth in email. AGX helps these forwarders take a step forward and digitalize themselves to compete with emerging digital and global players. We provide them with the digital toolset to keep their backs free so they can focus on their superior operational service offering.
We do this by building a communication and collaboration platform that slashes unnecessary emails and double data entry by connecting relevant data sources and providing a common work interface. Our vision is to standardize information exchange in international logistics like the container did for shipping if successful, this will also boost global GDP.
We are a team uniting decades of experience in SME-, and digital forwarding, tech, and consulting. We are based in Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore, well-financed by industry experts, and are due to launch our core product in Q1 22.

You will
The following are exemplary projects you may take on in your role:
- Sales: Prepare, participate, lead sales pitches. Lead customer pilots and improve our pilot programme
- Customer success: Set up a loyalty and referral programme, roll it out and prove its effectiveness
- Product: Research, model, and negotiate partnership deals for climate compensation to be integrated into our platform. Validate our product backlog with customers.
- Operations: Find ways to reduce onboarding time of new customers by at least 30%. Design the new process and roll it out. Onboard customers yourself.
- People amp; Culture: Set up our coaching offering. Work with agencies to screen and interview candidates, optimize our hiring and retention approach.
Requirements
What you should bring
- You are studying business administration, economics, or another business-related degree
- You have already completed relevant internships in start-ups, logistics, or consulting
- You have exceptional analytical skills, strong attention to detail, as well as a hands-on mentality
- You are highly ambitious and equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset
- You enjoy working independently and having lots of responsibility
- You are passionate about at least one ‘unusual’ thing or topic
- You have 3-6 months of time
