About the Role:
We are looking for a Technology Scouting Intern to work closely with Brinc's high-impact corporate partners.
The job requires a close eye on industry trends and latest deployment of frontier technologies, as well as the ability of comprehending the science/ engineering behind them. With the ever-evolving business landscape, corporates need early access to market insights in order to build/ sustain their competitive advantages.
This role is intellectually challengin, dynamic and unique in the market. As you execute your responsibilities, you will be broadening your view towards the current technology offerings and developing an understanding of the market. Your work will impact our client’s innovation blueprint and hence their value creation.
What You Will Do:
- Support the scoping of the client’s innovation and search objectives
- Conduct literature review and research on possible technologies that enhance client’s product
- Discuss and liaise with Subject Matter Experts to draft Gate 0 innovation proposals
- Assess potential vendor’s TRL level based on agreed upon criteria with client
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders to come up with the best way forward for the project
- Work closely with the shortlisted organisations with complete technical review requirement
- Provide ad hoc support to the Corporate Innovation Team on day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Passion in science/ engineering
- Understanding of Stage-Gate model is a plus
- A proactive approach and a high level of enthusiasm and motivation for product innovation and technology in general
- Attention to detail, ability to work under tight deadlines and constant changes
- Language proficiency - English, Chinese
