About the Role
In this role, you will work with the Accelerator and Portfolio team, as well as the in-house General Counsel. The ideal candidate will support the completion of agreements with early-stage tech startups, and will start immediately.
Main Responsibilities
- Organizing and maintaining documents in a paper or electronic filing system.
- Meeting with our startup founders, our in-house legal head, and other professionals to talk about legal details for our various investments and commercial engagements.
- Preparing term sheets, shareholder documents, briefs, contracts, and other legal documents.
- Reviewing intellectual property filings.
- Keeping all legal documents up to date for our local commercial engagements.
Requirements
- Excellent English language (oral and written) is a must.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Outstanding structured and critical thinking.
- Experience in working with individuals and teams across multiple regions.
- Experience with in-house work, preferably with startups, early stage tech companies, and/or accelerators/venture capital funds.
- Experience in private equity and equity/token documentation such as SAFEs, SAFTs, Advisor Agreements, Shareholders and Subscription Agreements is preferred
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
- Experience with google drive, DocuSign amp; file management is an advantage
- A degree in law with an emphasis in commercial law and/or finance law is preferred
