About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and proven hospitality professional to join us as the Restaurant Manager for our innovative new Spanish tapas restaurant, Candela, which will be opening in Hong Kong's commercial and retail epicentre, Causeway Bay, later this year.
As the Restaurant Manager, you will report to an Area Director of Operations and be responsible for running the venue's front-of-house operations. You will ensure that the team is well trained and motivated, consistently delivering extraordinary and memorable experiences to our guests.

Duties amp; Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop the team
- Ensure the smooth running of the restaurant
- Train your team in all aspects of service
- Be the face of the operations
- Deal decisively and effectively with any issues
- Achieve agreed budget by controlling costs and wages
- Write staff rosters and manage annual leave and staff absence
- Order and monitor stock and control the cost of goods
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager
- Experience in running a hundred cover plus restaurant
- A hands on manager who enjoys being on the floor interacting with guests
- Highly organised and capable of working calmly under pressure
- Excellent communication skills and modern empathetic people management skills
- Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset
- Sense of responsibility within your role
- Fluency in English is a must; other languages are advantageous
