Job Description
We’re now looking for a dynamic Assistant Bar Manager for The Sixteenth, our large upscale concept in Quarry Bay boasting 3 restaurants and a terrace!
As an Assistant Bar Manager, you will support the Bar Manager in aspects of running a high-volume, high quality bar operation. You will ensure that the team is well trained and motivated, and is consistently delivering an informed and friendly service experience. You will also take ownership of all back-of-house duties such as stock take, ordering and budget management.

- Ensure the smooth operation of the bar at all times
- Train the team in all aspects of service
- Be the face of the operations
- Deal with any issues that may arise
- Organise staff rosters
- Provide support to the Bar Manager in coordinating a variety of activities such as hiring and training, arranging schedules and guest requirements
- Order, monitor and maintain stock
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years experience as an Assistant Bar Manager
- Possess a passion for cocktail making
- Strong management skills with a positive mindset and friendly image
- Enthusiastic when serving guests
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Self-organised and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility
- Good business sense and operational, administrative, and social skills
- Passion, determination, and commitment for success in the Famp;B industry
