Job Description

  • Be the single Operations entry point for the Customer Regional teams
  • Speak Customer language, understand Customer pains
  • Relieve Customer by acting further upstream from transportation through vendor management /project concept
  • Respond proactively and timely to client demand on daily requests and spot projects
  • Coordinate with different Bollore departments and entities to be the Operational Expert to:
    • Meet customer expectations and as per agreement with customer, and to rectify service, communication, coordination and operational lapses and account management related subject.
    • Issue, in case of damages, and follow-up on CAR (corrective action report) after identifying, articulating and proposing preventive and corrective actions
    • Focus and align efforts amp; deliverables to support and strengthen objectives for the account
  • Identify and report on new opportunities for business growth and likewise business threats
  • Be autonomous with leadership to ensure best service efficiency cooperation from ASPAC network offices involved with respect to terms of global contract signed with the client

Requirements

  • A tertiary education
  • Operational experience / knowledge in air freight, sea freight, customs brokerage amp; supply chain
  • At least 5 years working experience with a freight forwarder in an Operations / Customer Service role
  • Global/Regional Account Management Approach experience
  • Having the quality of being a mature and independent worker and yet a team player who could thrive working in a challenging and dynamic environment
  • Energetic individual that thrives in working in a team environment within the company
  • Customer oriented individual and able to express customer request and challenges into simple actionable tasks that the individual will delegate to / and or work with our network for satisfactory response to our customer.
  • Derive job satisfaction from realizing measurable service improvements and clientele retention.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize and to follow-through till the objective is achieved
  • Proven experience in Vertical market Luxury /Fashion is a must, Passion is a plus
  • Knowledge on Omni-channel distribution
  • Sensitive to CSR and Ethics /Compliance
